Flower Henna Pattern
This is one of my earlier doodles/henna patterns. It is also one of my favorites. Making flower doodle art is one thing I never grow tired of because there is so much you can do with flowers and these flowers will never wilt. I like to use a 0.5mm ultra fine pen and found a nice pack of signature pens at Dollar Tree and they work just as good as my Micron art pens minus the price tag. I have tried using ultra fine sharpies but find that they bleed through and out too much. Sharpies of any size are good for making heavy outlines on your artwork or for coloring in big areas. Just be sure you have something non-permeable under your paper to prevent messing up the surface of your table or the bottom sheets in your scrapbook/notebook. I use a clipboard whether I am using a sharpie or not.
Dreamer
I added color to this doodle art using Gimp. Again as you can see, there are a number of flowers in this doodle too (yay!) and the blue and green make it look as if the lotus flowers along with the other various flowers are floating in the sea with seaweed.
Paisleys and Things
This doodle is a mix of a bit of everything. I actually wanted to "grow" it bigger than what it is, but I didn't have the space. My future doodle art conquest is to get a nice giant sheet of construction paper or recycled card board and have a doodle making good time. I felt really at peace when I made this doodle. Making doodles such as these or whatever it is you like to draw can be very therapeutic.
